Sustainability

1750 Salvage is committed to being honest and accountable when it comes to our imprint on the planet. We continue to support movements of circularity and strive to bring you beautiful items with as little impact to our environment as possible.

  • Sourcing

We source materials from waste garments, fabric scraps and clothing donations. The team also purchases garments from second-hand clothing suppliers as needed. The trims are sourced & purchased new from suppliers.

  • Fabric Dyeing

1750 is advancing to all natural dyeing techniques and using innovative ways to display our resist pattern work. We are creating dye stuff using natural indigo and food waste.

  • Shipping & Packaging

All of our packaging and shipping products are recycled & biodegradable. We continuously try to avoid any use of virgin and single use plastics and select new products from regenerative sources.
